Job summary

NHC HealthCare North Augusta is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to help keep patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas clean and orderly. You will support laundry tasks and follow the center’s cleaning schedules to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Shifts available 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm with a pay range of $13-$16 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include PTO, health coverage, a 401k, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or laundry preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow established cleaning schedules.
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient bathrooms and rooms, hallways, walls and furniture.
• Empty garbage and manage waste per policy.
• Load washers and operate washing machines and dryers.
• Gather dirty laundry and fold/store laundry per center procedures.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and ensure rooms are ready for patients.
