Regal Heights Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Jackson Heights, Queens, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for a Nursing Home. Responsibilities

• Day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in designated areas.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition.
• Follow instructions from the Director of Housekeeping to keep the facility safe.
• Remove trash and used linens; able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Discard waste in proper containers and line trash receptacles.
• Store equipment, tools, and supplies properly.
• Report any broken equipment to supervisor.

Housekeeper for Nursing Home

Job Summary:

• Responsible for the maintenance of an approved level of cleanliness and sanitary conditions of the areas assigned within the Nursing Home.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department

• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas

• Ensure that equipment is clean and in working condition

• Follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a safe manner

• Removal of trash & used linens. Should be able to lift up to forty pounds

• Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacles with a plastic liner

• Properly store equipment, tools, and supplies

• Report any broken equipment to supervisor.
