Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois is seeking a Warehouse Associate to process and price diverse wares in our Rockford store. You will sort items by category, examine condition, and set prices using store guidelines, with attention to accuracy and value.

Responsibilities include handling donations, assisting in other areas as needed, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace. Knowledge of collectibles and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of collectibles, antiques or specialized items strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools including MS Word, Outlook and internet usage.
• Ability to count, add, and subtract.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Ability to follow all safety rules.
• Must be able to operate a pricing gun and price merchandise appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Process hard goods (wares, electrical, furniture, books, shoes, accessories) and price accurately.
• Sort items by category, follow store criteria and pricing guides.
• Identify items for ecommerce and price high-value or unique items as directed.
• Assist donations and other areas as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area and follow Kaizen processes.
