Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital San Diego is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Full-time Day Shift in our downtown San Diego facility. This 110-bed Critical Illness Recovery Hospital delivers care to medically complex patients with a typical length of stay around 25–30 days.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required at hire.
• BLS and ACLS are required at hire.
• Five (5) years of critical care/progressive clinical care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage resources during your assigned shift.
• Create a healthy work atmosphere that promotes team and individual growth.
• Monitor the workplace to ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
• Serve as a clinical resource to staff and patients/families.
• Collaborate as an interdisciplinary team to identify and solve patient-specific needs and improve operations.

Pay Rate: $125,000- $155,000 annually

As a 110-bed free-standing Critical Illness Recovery Hospital, we treat medically complex patients who need more support before starting their road to recovery. Minimum Requirements

• Valid State RN License is required.

Preferred Qualifications That Will Make You Successful

• Five (5) years of critical care/progressive clinical care experience is preferred.
• One (1) year of experience in leadership.
• Prior clinical management experience is preferred.
• BSN is preferred.
