Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield is seeking a House Supervisor – RN to lead an inpatient pediatric behavioral health team. The role focuses on compassionate, patient-centered care in a safe environment for children and teens.

You will supervise units, coordinate services, and mentor nursing staff while maintaining strong relationships with physicians and families. Inpatient mental health experience preferred, with a MissouriRN license required.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license (or compact) required.
• Current CPR certification; BLS preferred.
• Able to become Handle with Care certified within 30 days.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Two years of inpatient behavioral health/mental health preferred.
• Three years of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate and supervise services on assigned units to ensure quality care.
• Conduct rounds, monitor acutely ill patients, and greet new admissions.
• Support a team-focused culture and care quality.

House Supervisor – Registered Nurse (RN) Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield is seeking a dedicated House Supervisor – RN to join our inpatient psychiatric care team. This position is ideal for a compassionate nursing leader who is committed to supporting children and adolescents receiving behavioral health treatment in a safe, structured, and patient-centered environment. What You’ll Do

• Maintain effective working relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, patients’ families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist in coordinating and supervising services on assigned units to promote a positive patient care environment.
• Conduct regular rounds on nursing units, including checking in with licensed and non-licensed staff, monitoring acutely ill patients, and greeting new admissions.
• Support a team-focused culture that enhances quality of care and the overall patient experience.
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff with assessments, care planning, prioritization, education, supplies, and medication availability.
• Facilitate timely communication between nurses, providers, responsible parties, and outside vendors to support patient care needs.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure appropriate procedures and safety measures are followed.
• Help ensure staffing needs are met across assigned units.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri or qualified compact license required.
• Current CPR certification required; BLS certification preferred.
• Ability to become certified in Handle with Care within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• Two years of inpatient behavioral health or mental health experience preferred.
• Three years of nursing experience preferred.
