Job summary

Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Leader to oversee day-to-day nursing operations on a rotating 12-hour shift. You will guide, mentor, and evaluate nursing and support staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

Collaborate on hiring, training, and performance feedback to build a cohesive team. Requirements include a BSN, at least 3 years of leadership in a clinical setting, and Michigan RN licensure with ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality management and service excellence.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to develop cooperative working relationships and convey information clearly.

Schedule

(2) - 12 Hour Rotating Shift, available to work either 7am - 730pm or 7pm - 730am, every other weekend and holiday rotation

Qualifications

Education/Experience Required

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 3 years of experience of more responsible leadership experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of quality management and service excellence. Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to develop and maintain a wide variety of cooperative working relationships, provide instruction to associates and convey information clearly and consistently through excellent written and verbal communication mediums.

Certification/Licensure Required

• Current license to practice in the State of Michigan as a Registered Nurse.
• ACLS/ BLS certification
