Pioneer Center for Human Services is seeking a House Supervisor for the BH Residential program. The role oversees day-to-day operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports staff through training and supervision.

Qualifications

House Supervisor (BH Residential)

Department: BH Residential Job Status: Full Time
FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: BH Residential Program Manager
Grade/Level: 5 Amount of Travel Required: 50%
Job Type: Regular Positions Supervised: PTs and MHPs
Work Schedule:
Monday thru Friday; 9:00AM-5:00PM/ some nights and weekends. (On call, required)

POSITION SUMMARY

The House Supervisor is responsible for the management and coordination of day-to-day program operations, assurance of program's compliance with applicable standards and regulations, assistance in program development and providing support to staff in carrying out program specific tasks to meet the needs of those individuals participating in the program of service. The House Supervisor is also responsible for providing skills training and other services to assigned program consumers as outlined in each individual's plan.

  • Participate in recruiting and staff hiring processes, in tandem with HR Recruiter.
  • Supervise and coach staff for performance excellence.
  • Responsible for staff engagement and retention.
  • Assign staff shift duties and create effective checkpoints for efficient shift switch.
  • Utilize Paycom for all staff scheduling as per requirements.
  • Follow On-Call guidelines as required.
  • Train staff and conduct OJT for all new staff and ensure staff follow all home standard operating procedures.
  • Cover open shifts as needed and find staff coverage if there is a sick house.
  • Ensure staff complete billing and all required paperwork.
  • Issue disciplinary actions when/if needed in discussion with the Program Manager.
  • Complete all required training on a yearly basis and monitor staffs completion of training.
  • Monitor Safety Drills, Environmental Reviews, and AED checklists to ensure timely and efficient completion.
  • Responsible for checking the MAR's, inputting new medication and medication changes in Med Management.
  • Complete purchase orders for food and supplies for the home.
  • Coordinate van maintenance issues and repairs.
  • Ensure homes are well maintained and complete maintenance requests.
  • Assist with client activity and appointment transportation as needed.
  • Support move-in and move-out processes for incoming or departing clients.
  • Performs all other duties assigned by Supervisor.
  • Follows HR policies and completes HR paperwork. Contacts HR with questions concerning either.
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school): Preferred

Experience: 1 plus years of experience in a progressive leadership role
1 plus years of experience in the BH field

Computer Skills: EHR, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Certifications & Licenses:

Other Requirements: Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and pass required, agency vehicle training.

Must be able to meet agency driver safety requirement of carrying personal vehicle insurance with the following limits:
$50,000 bodily injury, each person
$100,000 bodily injury, each accident
$50,000 property damage

Ability to use Phone, Fax, Copier, and file required.
