Banner Behavioral Health Hospital is a voluntary facility for adults and adolescents. This is a dual role Part-Time 24 hours (2, 12 hour shifts weekly) as both a Behavioral Health House Supervisor and Resource Nurse - RN.

The selected candidate will be guaranteed:

• One Shift as House Supervisor per week (6:00PM - 6:30AM)
• One Shift as Behavioral Health Resource per week (7:00PM - 7:30AM)
• The House Supervisor shift will be either Wednesday or Saturday night , rotating weekly.
• There will be a pay differential based on the role being worked , with the applicable House Supervisor or Resource RN rate applied for each shift worked.
• Holiday availability will be required, and scheduling expectations can be discussed during the interview process.

As a Behavioral Health Resource RN , you will assist with a wide variety of behavioral health related patients. Holiday availability required. You will also have the opportunity to utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position provides administrative supervision of campus workflow, resource utilization and management, and operations for all clinical and non-clinical departments during assigned shift. Responds to facility emergency situations, initiates disaster notification processes, facilitates patient placement and communicates with media.

1. 1. Assesses overall staffing effectiveness and adequate throughput by ensuring the appropriate number, competency and skill mix of staff are involved in the provision of needed health care services according to census, acuity, and responsible use of labor budget.
2. 2. Responds to and assesses all codes and other crisis situations, implements plan, and evaluates response. Understands and utilizes the appropriate chain of command as needs arise.
3. 3. Serves as a professional resource to patients, families, physicians, and staff by prioritizing, mediating and resolving concerns. Interprets organizational policies and facilitates patient-centered care.
4. 4. Interprets and ensures regulatory compliance of business entity policy and procedures. Provides expertise and serves as a resource to committees and departments.
5. 5. Demonstrates an expectation and support for continuous quality improvement.
