Job summary

The LINE Austin is seeking a dynamic House Person to join our housekeeping team. You will strip rooms, refresh linens, and assist Room Attendants while maintaining inventory and cleanliness throughout the property.

You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely room readiness, execute routine cleaning tasks, and uphold the high standards of service that define our vibrant brand. This role offers growth opportunities in a creative hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years of related hospitality or service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Notify supervisor about rooms out of order for maintenance.
• Strip rooms, remove trash, and assist Room Attendants as needed.
• Ensure bedding and duvet covers are changed between guests.
• Maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and amenities.
• Keep storage rooms stocked with par levels.
• Report deficiencies in rooms or public areas to appropriate staff.
• Vacuum carpets, clean hallways, stairs, and linen closets.
• Communicate location and status to supervisor at all times.
• Assist with projects like mattress rotation and deep cleans.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services and amenities.
• Attend relevant meetings.

We are seeking a dynamic House Person to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

1. Notify immediate supervisor about any hotel rooms that need to be placed out of order for maintenance concerns
2. Responsible for stripping hotel rooms, removing trash and assisting Room Attendants as needed
3. Ensure all bedding, including duvet covers, are changed between each guest
4. Continually maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies and guest amenities to ensure adequate supplies in accordance with established par levels and timeframes
5. Maintain the storage rooms with at least one (1) par clean at all times
6. Report and correct deficiencies noted in hotel rooms or public areas to the appropriate individuals
7. Vacuum carpets, clean hallways, clean emergency stairs, dust areas as assigned, remove trash, clean and maintain landing areas and linen closets
8. Ensure your immediate supervisor knows where you are located in the hotel at all times
9. Assist in the timely completion of all projects including mattress rotation, window washing, deep cleanings, etc.
10. Maintain constant communication between all departments
11. Notify immediate supervisor of stock shortages and/or malfunctioning equipment
12. Possess knowledge of all hotel services and amenities
13. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the work area
14. Attend relevant meetings

2. Three (3) years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
