Job summary

LINE Hotels in Austin is seeking a dynamic House Person to join the housekeeping team. You will help maintain immaculate guest rooms, assist room attendants, restock supplies, and support daily operations to ensure a welcoming, safe guest environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Three years related hospitality or service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Collaborative spirit and ethical conduct.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Opera PMS.

Responsibilities

  • Notify supervisor about hotel rooms out of order for maintenance.
  • Strip rooms, remove trash, assist Room Attendants as needed.
  • Ensure bedding is changed between guests.
  • Maintain inventory of linens and cleaning supplies.
  • Keep storage rooms stocked with par levels.
  • Report deficiencies in rooms or public areas.
  • Vacuum carpets, clean hallways and stairs, dust areas.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services and amenities.
  • Attend relevant meetings.

We are seeking a dynamic House Person to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities
  1. Notify immediate supervisor about any hotel rooms that need to be placed out of order for maintenance concerns
  2. Responsible for stripping hotel rooms, removing trash and assisting Room Attendants as needed
  3. Ensure all bedding, including duvet covers, are changed between each guest
  4. Continually maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies and guest amenities to ensure adequate supplies in accordance with established par levels and timeframes
  5. Maintain the storage rooms with at least one (1) par clean at all times
  6. Report and correct deficiencies noted in hotel rooms or public areas to the appropriate individuals
  7. Vacuum carpets, clean hallways, clean emergency stairs, dust areas as assigned, remove trash, clean and maintain landing areas and linen closets
  8. Ensure your immediate supervisor knows where you are located in the hotel at all times
  9. Assist in the timely completion of all projects including mattress rotation, window washing, deep cleanings, etc.
  10. Maintain constant communication between all departments
  11. Notify immediate supervisor of stock shortages and/or malfunctioning equipment
  12. Possess knowledge of all hotel services and amenities
  13. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the work area
  14. Attend relevant meetings

  2. Three (3) years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
