Job description

The Role

As a House Monitor, you will oversee the daily operations of our residential recovery program. You will ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere for residents, promoting their well-being and adherence to program rules. Your presence will be vital in maintaining a structured environment that encourages recovery and personal growth.

This position requires Awake Overnight shifts including weekends.

What You\'ll Do

• Monitor the activities and behavior of residents to ensure compliance with program rules.
• Provide support and guidance to residents, helping them navigate challenges in their recovery journey.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Document incidents and interactions with residents, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Promote community and engagement.
• Serve as a point of contact for residents, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely manner.
• Prepare meals and ensure cleanliness of the environment

What We\'re Looking For

• Experience in a supportive or monitoring role, preferably in a recovery or healthcare setting.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Basic understanding of addiction and recovery principles is preferred.

• Mudt be able to pass background check including CDCR clearance

Nice to Have

• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Experience with conflict resolution and crisis management.
• Familiarity with community resources related to recovery and mental health.
