People's Arc is seeking a House Manager to implement a family-like environment and oversee daily operations of a community residence. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, planning activities, transportation, and meals for residents.
The role requires supervisory experience in an OPWDD setting, a valid NYS driver’s license, and strong professionalism with confidential information. On-call duties are required to support staffing and emergencies.
Role Summary: The House Manager, with the support of the Assistant Director of Residential, is responsible for implementing and maintaining an appropriate home-like environment for the people we support, within the People's Arc of Suffolk community residence. They will oversee the daily operation of the location including but not limited to budgeting, scheduling, planning of daily activities, transportation, and meals.

High School or better.
Role Requirements:High School Diploma2 years of supervisory experience in an OPWDD setting.Maintains a valid NYS driver's license with agency criteria.Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applicationsMust be able to display a high level of professionalism and discretion and understand the sensitive nature of confidential information with superior emotional intelligence.24-hour on-call for staffing/emergency problems
