We are a warm, busy household of four with two high-energy boys, ages 5 and 3, and two full-time professional parents entering demanding new chapters in their careers. Our home is lively, loving, and always in motion. We value structure, good systems, and thoughtful routines, and we know how quickly the day-to-day details can pile up when work, school, appointments, meals, errands, and family logistics are all happening at once.
After long days, we want our home to feel like a haven: a grounded, calm place where everyone can decompress, reconnect, and enjoy being together. We have a weekly cleaning service and landscaper already in place, so this role is not about deep cleaning or managing the household from the outside. It is about bringing daily order, consistency, and care to the rhythms of our home so the whole family has more breathing room.
We are more introverted by nature and work best with someone who is collaborative, proactive, discreet, and comfortable with clear, professional communication. We are not looking for someone to manage around us; we are seeking a long-term partner who can become a natural extension of the household. The right person will notice what needs attention, help create and maintain systems that make daily life feel smoother, and support the home in a way that feels calm rather than rigid or over-managed.
Our boys are energetic, curious, and full of personality, and they need someone who can keep up with them and genuinely enjoy their energy. At the same time, this role is about supporting the whole family vision: a smoother-running home that allows us to focus on what matters most — quality time together, supporting each other’s growth and passions, and creating a home environment where everyone can recharge, connect, and thrive.
You are a motivated, highly organized, and proactive professional who takes pride in helping a household run smoothly. You are systems-oriented and detail-minded, but also very hands-on, finding real satisfaction in the daily work that keeps a family home functioning well.
You bring warmth, foresight, experience, and sound judgment to both big-picture planning and practical execution. You can create flexible, easy-to-maintain systems; navigate scheduling tools and school portals; and keep the many moving pieces of a family home organized and cared for.
Your presence is calm, warm, discreet, and professional. You read the room, know when to engage and when to give space, and bring a low-ego, collaborative approach that creates calm without over-managing. You are also patient, grounded, and engaging with young children, with the energy and stamina to keep up with two active boys while maintaining a steady tone.
While this is not a traditional nanny role, comfort with children and family rhythms is essential. Experience working around food allergies is important, as you understand that dietary needs and household accommodations are genuine safety considerations, not simply preferences. We are hoping to create more ease in the day-to-day rhythm of our home, reduce the mental load we carry as parents, and make more space for our family to connect, recharge, and thrive.
