Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. at Valley River Inn in Eugene, Oregon, seeks a House Attendant to keep linen rooms stocked and assist in cleaning rugs, carpets, draperies, and floors while transporting trash.

You will be an essential part of the housekeeping team, helping maintain the hotel in sparkling condition. We offer an hourly wage of $17.50 with benefits and programs that support work–life balance, including paid time off, holiday pay, and a suite of employee perks.

Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping or related cleaning experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques/chemical applications a plus.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guests with professional, efficient, prompt, and courteous service.
  • Deliver clean linen and terry to six linen rooms, ensuring items are divided equally.
  • Operate a golf cart with trailer safely in all weather conditions.
  • Collect and transport dirty linen and terry from linen rooms to the laundry facility.
  • Haul trash to designated disposal areas as assigned.
  • Ensure linen rooms remain organized and properly stocked.

House Attendant | Valley River Inn

Fast paced. Fresh and clean. You are an essential part of an efficient and talented team, responsible for keeping linen rooms stocked with linen, terry, and supplies, as well as cleaning rugs, carpets, draperies, floors and transporting trash to disposal areas. Hotel House Attendants directly support Housekeeping in maintaining the hotel in sparkling condition!

Your Impact


  • Provide guests with professional, efficient, prompt, and courteous service.

  • Deliver clean linen and terry to six (6) designated linen rooms, ensuring items are divided equally.

  • Operate a golf cart with trailer safely in all weather conditions.

  • Collect and transport dirty linen and terry from linen rooms to the laundry facility.

  • Haul trash to designated disposal areas as assigned.

  • Ensure linen rooms remain organized and properly stocked.

  • Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and handling linen.

  • Communicate supply needs or issues to supervisors promptly.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of carts, trailers, and work areas.

  • Maintain supplies and organization of housekeeping carts.

  • Maintain supplies and organization of linen rooms.

  • Check all linen rooms and report any damage, repair needs, or loss of supplies.

  • Monitors cleanliness of all public areas both inside and out on property.

  • Attends all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.

  • Greets and warmly engages guests.

  • Complete tasks as assigned by Housekeeping Manager and/or General Manager.
