Overview

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment, delivering items to guestrooms, and assisting with guest requests.

Responsibilities

1. Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
2. Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.
3. Assist guests with luggage in a friendly and courteous manner.
4. Handle Lost and Found items following hotel standards.
5. Clean guestrooms as required.
6. Know and assist in emergency procedures.
7. Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
8. Store hotel equipment properly.
9. Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
10. Ensure guest satisfaction through quality service.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or equivalent, or related experience preferred.
2. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
3. Ability to stand throughout the shift.
4. Effective verbal and written communication skills, friendly and courteous demeanor.
