Overview

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment, delivering items to guestrooms, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

1. Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
2. Shampoo carpets in public areas as needed.
3. Shampoo furniture as required.
4. Assist with luggage in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
5. Handle Lost and Found items according to hotel standards.
6. Clean guestrooms as assigned.
7. Follow all emergency procedures.
8. Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
9. Store hotel equipment properly.
10. Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
11. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or equivalent, or related experience preferred.
2. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
3. Ability to stand for the entire shift.
4. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of employees and guests in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
