Overview

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas and delivering items to guestrooms, such as express checkout materials and newspapers.

Responsibilities

• Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
• Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.
• Handle luggage assistance requests courteously.
• Manage Lost and Found items per hotel standards.
• Clean guestrooms as required.
• Know and assist with emergency procedures.
• Maintain hotel equipment and storage properly.
• Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
• Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in a friendly, courteous, service-oriented manner.
