Job summary

EOS Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson to support Room Attendants and maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel. The role involves handling linen, delivering supplies, and assisting with making up roll-away beds to ensure guest comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist Room Attendants with stripping vacant rooms and handling linen as needed.
• Deliver miscellaneous goods and supplies to guest rooms and deliver linen and supplies to guest floors.
• Shampoo hallways, rooms, and public areas.
• Remove dirty linen from guest floors.
• Remove trash from work areas to the loading dock/dumpster and remove trash and linen from cleaning carts.
• Clean elevator car and tracks.
• Sweep and wash floors, vacuum carpet, wash walls, dust furniture and fixtures and clean ashtrays.
• Move furniture, supplies, and equipment; make up and deliver roll-away beds.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill necessary tasks.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

Qualification Standards

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent education preferred.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years previous experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel preferred.
• Grooming: All colleagues must maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided).
