Job Title: Housekeeping Houseperson

Compensation: Hourly

Overview

The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment, delivering items to guestrooms, and assisting with guest requests to ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all assigned areas and equipment.
2. Buff marble floors, shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as per hotel standards.
3. Assist guests with luggage and handle Lost and Found items courteously.
4. Ensure proper closing procedures at shift end, including returning keys and assignment sheets.
5. Clean guestrooms as needed and assist in emergency procedures.
6. Maintain hotel equipment and storage areas properly.
7. Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
8. Provide friendly and courteous service to guests, managers, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours, including long shifts.
• Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.
