Overview: The House Attendant maintains cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment, and delivers items to guestrooms such as express checkout materials and newspapers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Buff marble floors daily per hotel standards.
  2. Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.
  3. Assist with luggage in a friendly, efficient manner.
  4. Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
  5. Clean guestrooms as required.
  6. Know and assist with emergency procedures.
  7. Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
  8. Store hotel equipment properly.
  9. Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
  10. Ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
