Overview

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment, delivering items to guestrooms, and assisting with guest requests.

Responsibilities

1. Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
2. Shampoo carpets in public areas as per hotel standards.
3. Shampoo furniture as needed.
4. Assist with luggage in a friendly, efficient manner.
5. Handle Lost and Found items according to hotel standards.
6. Clean guestrooms as needed.
7. Know and assist in emergency procedures.
8. Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
9. Store hotel equipment properly.
10. Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
11. Ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or equivalent, or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
2. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
3. Ability to stand throughout the shift.
4. Effective verbal and written communication skills, friendly and courteous demeanor.
