Property Location

The Westin Long Beach is situated across the street from the Long Beach Convention Center and two blocks from the beach. The hotel features 474 rooms, 37,000 sq ft of meeting space, 31 suites, and a garden terrace. Its central location offers proximity to the Aquarium of the Pacific, Catalina Express, and the Queen Mary.

Job Overview

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment, delivering items to guestrooms, and assisting with guest requests and emergencies.

Responsibilities

1. Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
2. Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.
3. Assist with luggage and handle Lost and Found items per standards.
4. Clean guestrooms as required.
5. Know and assist with emergency procedures.
6. Maintain hotel equipment and storage areas.
7. Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
8. Ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
3. Ability to stand throughout entire shift.
4. Effective communication skills, friendly and courteous demeanor.
