Job summary

The Abbey Resort in Wisconsin is seeking a House Attendant to join our hospitality team. As a Resort associate, you will help maintain cleanliness in public areas and guest rooms, supporting the housekeeping team to create a welcoming environment on Geneva Lake.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, stocking supplies, assisting with turnovers, and reporting maintenance issues. The role requires mobility, good communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience desirable.
• Familiarity with HotSOS application desirable
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Neat, pleasant personality.
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to read room numbers, dates and basic instructions.

• Perform daily cleaning of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms as needed.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies (toilet paper, soap, sheets, towels, etc.).
• Assist housekeepers with room turnovers and special requests.
• Transport linen, towels, and cleaning supplies to designated areas.
• Help with the organization and storage of housekeeping supplies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Utilize a mobile device through-out each shift that displays work orders for your section.

• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner
• Perform other related duties as requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor, or Housekeeping Manager.
• Scheduled hours may vary on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime or reduced hours

ENVIRONMENT:

Indoor work with hard and carpeted surfaces. Occasional outdoor work. Good ventilation with artificial lighting.
