If you are a neat-freak who loves to clean and ensure that everything is in its right place, then this job is for you. You will be responsible for maintaining Virgin Hotel’s high standards of cleanliness in cleaning the guest hallways, vending areas, service landings, stairwells, and the service elevator. You will also be required to communicate, coordinate, and work well with other teammates, managers, and guests. We expect you to be aware of your surroundings and notice/anticipate guest needs to engage with them and provide genuine, "go the extra mile" service. Your teamwork and willingness to help others will be evident as you assist your fellow teammates and room attendants with linens, towels, etc., in cleaning the rooms. Most importantly, we want you to have fun, as you play a vital role in creating memorable guest experiences!

The Nitty-Gritty:

What exactly you will be doing…

  • Maintain the standard of cleanliness for guest hallways, vending areas, service landings, stairwells, and the service elevator.
  • Remove dirty linen and garbage from room attendant carts.
  • Assist in turning mattresses according to the rotation schedule.
  • Handle guest requests as assigned.
  • Assist the Public Area Attendant as necessary.
  • Report to designated shift in proper attire.
  • Perform duties within the allotted time.
  • Use only designated cleaning chemicals and tools.
  • Report guest or safety issues to a manager or supervisor.
  • Keep guest information confidential and secure.
  • Responsible for all assigned keys and comply with the company's key policy.
  • Follow hotel security policies.
  • Restock supplies as needed.
  • Complete manager requests within reason.
