Job summary

Sittercity.com is seeking a part-time household assistant/manager in Seattle, WA to help with 2-3 days per week. You will support two young kids and a friendly dog while parents work full-time. Primary tasks include laundry, dishwashing, light meal prep, and quick cleaning, with occasional organizing projects.

Flexible schedule and a calm, proactive approach are ideal. This role offers hands-on family support in a busy home with a warm environment.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting families with household tasks.

• Comfort with kids and a pet at home (dog).

Responsibilities

• Laundry (including putting it away).
• Unload/load dishwasher.
• Some meal prep and possibly meal planning.
• Touch-up cleaning (tidying toys, quick vacuum, wipe surfaces).
• Possibly organize kids' outgrown clothes for donation.

Job description

Basic house assistant/manager work. We'd like someone to come 2-3 days per week (we're flexible on the specific days of the week, but would like to set a consistent schedule). We have two young kids and a large and friendly dog. The kids will be at daycare, but our dog will be at home. My husband and I both work full time and just need some extra support right now!

Primary responsibilities:

• laundry (including putting it away)
• unloading/loading dishwasher
• some meal prep and possibly meal planning
• "touch up" cleaning (e.g., putting kids toys away, a quick vacuum, table/counter wipe, etc.)
• Possibly also some "special projects" here and there, like organizing kids' clothes that our kids have outgrown in order to donate them.
