Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA seeks a House and Promotion Manager to ensure a positive audience experience at School of Music events. You will manage ticketing, venue prep, and staff supervision while collaborating with technical teams to create an organized, welcoming environment.

The House and Promotion Manager reports to the Director ofOperations and is responsible for ensuring a positive and seamlessaudience experience for all School of Music events. This roleencompasses comprehensive ticketing management, venue preparation,staff supervision, and the development of promotional strategies tomaximize event attendance. The Manager will provide exceptionalcustomer service, maintain accurate records, and collaborate withtechnical staff to create a welcoming and organized environment forpatrons.
Supervises 10-15 student worker and volunteers.
Bachelor's degree in Music, Hospitality Management, ArtsAdministration, Business Administration, Marketing, or a relatedfield, and two (2) years of experience in customer service, eventmanagement, and staff supervision, demonstrating strongorganizational and problem-solving skills.
Or, six (6) years of equivalent relevant work experience incustomer service, event management, and staff supervision.
The working environment for this position is primarily aclimate-controlled setting with moderate noise levels, typical ofan event venue or office. However, this role requires frequent workduring evening hours and at events that may have low lightingconditions. Additionally, the position involves facilitating eventsoutdoors on occasion. This role also includes standing and walkingfor extended periods, and navigating crowded areas.
Employee is required to travel in performing the duties andresponsibilities of the position, the use of one’s personal vehicle(or LU vehicles) may be required for travel. Proof of a validdriver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval,and liability insurance is required when driving in the performanceof the employee’s position.

Market benchmarksmay be used, as appropriate, in combination with internal equity toensure pay is fair and aligned with the broader compensationstructure.
