Liberty University School of Music is seeking a part-time, on-site student worker to assist in tuning and maintaining pianos, supporting practice rooms, classes, ensembles, concerts, and recitals.
The role requires 12-18 hours per week, with weekly tuning duties, minor mechanical repairs, and careful record-keeping. You will interact with professors and students and uphold university policies and Christian mission.
School of Music student workers support the administrative andproduction needs of the School of Music. Daily functions includesupporting the practice rooms, classes, ensembles, concerts, andrecitals throughout each semester.

The working environment in which one will typically perform theessential functions of this position is a climate-controlledsetting. It is well lighted, and the noise level is moderate. ForSOM productions and concerts, music levels may be above average,but will not exceed industry and OSHA safety standards. Workingenvironment may include facilitation of events outdoorsoccasionally.
Use of one’s personal vehicle may be required for travel acrosscampus in the performance of the essential functions of thisposition.
