The BSU Transit Hourly Bus Operator is responsible for operating buses safely and efficiently. The primary goal is to transport students to and from classes and other campus locations in Bridgewater, West Bridgewater, and Brockton.

Responsibilities include:

1. Operating vans, cut-away buses, Ford minibuses, low-floor Gillig buses, and other equipment.
2. Ensuring safety standards and practices are followed at all times.
3. Communicating effectively both orally and in writing.

Supervision is provided by: Staff Associate, Transit Manager, and Associate Director of Facilities Management.

Multiple positions are available with pre-scheduled shifts at the start of each semester, based on applicant availability. Operating hours are between 6:30 AM and 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday, during the academic year.
