Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform Light Maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, and replacement of filters; lubricate moving parts.
• Conduct thorough multi-point inspections; check tire pressure and inspect/top off fluids.
• Communicate findings clearly; document work on repair orders and inform service advisors of additional needs.
• Provide customer care by keeping vehicles clean and notifying advisors of changes to appearance or condition.
• Maintain safety and order in the shop; follow hazardous waste procedures and report issues.

About the Role

As an hourly Technician, you will perform essential vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. You will also conduct multi-point inspections to identify additional service needs. This role is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic who takes pride in keeping the service bay clean, efficient, and safe.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Light Maintenance: Conduct oil and filter changes, rotate tires, and replace components such as air/cabin filters and wiper blades. Lubricate moving parts as required.
• Conduct Inspections: Perform thorough multi-point inspections, check tire pressure, and inspect/top off vehicle fluids.
• Communication: Clearly document all work on repair orders and report findings or additional service needs to service advisors.
• Customer Care: Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and notify service advisors of any changes to the vehicle's appearance or condition.
• Safety & Maintenance: Keep the shop area tidy, follow all safety and hazardous waste disposal procedures, and report safety issues immediately.

Requirements

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Continuous time standing and walking.
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, with occasional need to lift up to 100 lbs.

• Work is performed primarily indoors but includes exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, fumes, and chemicals.
