Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Learn line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, company policies, and practices affecting each business phase.
2. Set performance goals and objectives with upper management.
3. Direct, support, coach, and provide professional leadership to team members.
4. Become proficient with schedule creation, inventory, and payroll functions.
5. Participate in interviewing, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
6. Assist with training and developing crew members.
7. Help with food preparation, cooking, packaging, and operating POS systems.
8. Manage cash from in-house and drive-thru guests responsibly.
9. Resolve food quality or service complaints professionally.
10. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security protocols are followed.
11. Handle opening and closing procedures, including safety and food safety checklists.
12. Communicate positively with customers, team members, and managers.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by the GMM.
14. Be willing to work variable schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Supervisory responsibility for 15-30 employees.
• Less than high school education, GED, or high school degree preferred.
• Ability to understand simple instructions.
• No specific computer skills required.
• Ability to apply common sense and solve problems involving concrete variables.
• Must obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire.

Physical and Work Environment

• Regularly stand and lift/move up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Work involves exposure to heat from cooking equipment and moderate noise levels.
• Employees are expected to purchase non-slip shoes, available at a discount through the company.
