Position Summary:
The EndocrineDisruption and Chemical Biology Laboratory (EDC Lab) is recruiting a Laboratory Assistant to join our team in 2025. Our research bridges reproductive biology,toxicology, and sustainable chemistry to study the mechanisms by whichenvironmental chemicals act as endocrine disruptors. Specifically, we combinechemical biology techniques with in vitro mouse models of the femalereproductive system to study environmentally relevant mixtures of chemicaltoxicants.
Essential Functions:
The Laboratory Assistant will execute synthetic or analytical chemistry experiments, manage chemicalordering and inventory, and facilitate daily laboratory operations. As a memberof the team, the Laboratory Assistant will perform experiments, analyze results,present locally and nationally, receive mentorship from the PI, and be a partof an inclusive environment that supports creativity, professional development,and scientific discovery.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
- BA/BS in ascientific discipline minimum, MS preferred.
- Chemistry orbiochemistry laboratory experience.
- Atthe university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may beexempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of theuniversity, an equivalent combination of education and experience specificallypreparing the candidate for success in the position.
