Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at UM Rehabilitation & Orthopaedics Institute in Gwynn Oak, MD is hiring a Part Time Clinical Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team.

Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (CDR) and licensed where required; hospital experience preferred. You will provide medical nutrition therapy, follow the Diet Manual, and participate in quality programs within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the CDR.
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, where required.
• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EMR/diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention.
• Follow Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards (HIPAA, federal/state) and protect patient confidentiality.
• Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.
• Participate in patient satisfaction programs and QA/PI initiatives.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Part Time Clinical Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team at a rehabilitation hospital in Gwynn Oak, MD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
• Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required
• One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
