You will lead and develop crew, hire and train staff, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with company policies in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

You will participate in meetings, reinforce service expectations, supervise cash handling, and maintain inventory to protect profitability while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Ensure guests receive fast, friendly service and high-quality food products.
• Step into leadership responsibilities when the Senior/General Manager is not present to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in interviewing and hiring qualified staff who meet company standards and align with culture and values.
• Train, mentor, and develop crew members under the guidance of the Senior/General Manager.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and performance guidance to support employee development and accountability.
• Help create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage during all business hours.
• Monitor labor usage and staffing levels to meet labor cost targets while maintaining efficiency.
• Adjust staffing levels during shifts to accommodate guest flow and service demands.
• Foster a cooperative, respectful, and supportive work environment among management and crew.
• Maintain strong communication with the management team and staff to meet operational goals.
• Assist team members with operational duties during busy periods to support restaurant performance.
• Participate in or conduct crew and management team meetings to discuss procedures, promotions, safety, security, and training updates.
• Reinforce company policies, performance expectations, and service standards through clear communication.
• Maintain an adequate supply of food products and supplies; monitor inventory and control usage to meet cost standards.
• Support inventory management practices that reduce waste and maintain profitability.
• Identify maintenance issues and work with management to resolve them quickly to avoid disruptions.
• Assist with cash handling procedures including registers, deposits, and safe counts; adhere to cash control policies.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, sanitation, safety guidelines, and security procedures.
• Maintain professionalism and ensure personal appearance meets company standards.
