Job summary

Fontainebleau Miami Beach is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee the Security Department, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and staff. You will supervise security personnel, plan and monitor work, and coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services to handle incidents.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida Class D Security Officer License, CPR/AED and First Aid certification, and has at least two years of hotel security experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ hotel security experience.
• Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License required at the time of hire.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification must be completed within 90 days of hire and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Investigate accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities.
• Review and correct all incoming security incident reports.
• Conduct investigations and submit supplemental reports pertaining to losses.
• Supervise labor force and assign work for efficient use of equipment and personnel.
• Ensure compliance with company and departmental rules and procedures.
• Plan, manage, and monitor work while coaching staff and building relationships.
• Maintain relationships with local law enforcement and insurers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
