Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related field experience preferred.
• Flexible hours with long shifts sometimes required.
• Heavy work: occasionally up to 100 lbs, frequent up to 50 lbs, constant up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to stand during the entire shift and to climb stairs and run.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with staff and guests.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate initiative.
• Attend required meetings and trainings and uphold grooming standards.
• Cross-train in hotel-related areas and adhere to standards.

Responsibilities

• Use proper radio etiquette at all times.
• Maintain visual contact with Front Desk/Night Auditor and lobby when not on rounds.
• Maintain and review daily activity log; document incidents clearly.
• Assist guests to rooms and during emergencies; provide first aid when needed.
• Respond to medical, security, and guest complaints; investigate incidents.
• Monitor secured areas and assist with access control.
• Conduct investigations into property losses, accidents, or crimes.
• Provide escorts for persons carrying money and manage equipment.
• Attend hotel meetings and trainings; maintain professional demeanor.
