Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Security Supervisor to direct the day-to-day operations of the Safety and Security department, ensuring protection of guests and staff. You will patrol properties, report hazards, and enforce hotel rules with a focus on incident prevention and swift response to emergencies.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and may prefer 1+ years in a hotel setting with supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security staff and assign shifts.
• Conduct training for security staff and supervise investigations.
• Arrange procedures for emergency situations (fire, bomb threats, hurricanes).
• Monitor alarms, patrol premises, and provide guest/employee escorts as needed.
• Complete incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.
