Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Hotel Security Associate to monitor and patrol the property, ensuring guest and employee safety and protecting hotel assets. The role requires calm, professional handling of emergencies, disturbances, and potential threats while coordinating with hotel leadership and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities include frequent foot patrols, responding to alarms and safety calls, and assisting guests with safety-related needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in frontline safety, customer service, or security roles preferred.
• Knowledge of building safety, fire safety, and emergency procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel premises on foot to identify safety risks and ensure guest and employee safety.
• Coordinate timely responses to emergencies, disturbances, or safety hazards.
• Maintain order, assist guests with safety-related issues, and document incidents clearly.
• Answer safety hotline calls and communicate via pager or two-way radio.
• Memorize hotel layout and locations of life safety systems for rapid response.
• Escort guests or staff as needed and uphold all safety policies.
