Job summary

The Security Officer at M Social Sunnyvale will help protect guests, staff, and assets by patrolling the property, monitoring security systems, and responding to incidents with professionalism and care. You will support emergency procedures and deliver service-focused interactions to ensure a safe guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree or coursework in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of guest areas, public spaces, parking facilities, back-of-house areas, and the exterior of the hotel.
• Monitor CCTV, fire life safety systems, alarms, and access control systems.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, safety concerns, and guest incidents.
• Assist with evacuations and emergency response procedures when necessary.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and preserve evidence; cooperate with authorities when needed.
