Job summary

Westin Hotels & Resorts in Irving, TX is seeking an entry-level management role within Rooms Operations. This position supports day-to-day activities across Housekeeping, Recreation, Laundry, Staff, AYS and Concierge/Guest Services, assisting in guest arrival and departure procedures and maintaining cleanliness standards.

The role aims to drive guest and employee satisfaction while helping meet the property’s operating budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years guest services or related experience.
• A 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major with at least 1 year experience.
• Experience in front desk, housekeeping, or guest services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close Front Desk shifts and complete shift checklists.
• Review and act on room operations reports.
• Coordinate with Recreation, Laundry, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, AYS, and Concierge.
• Ensure staff have supplies and uniforms.
• Understand night audit procedures and use reports.
• Schedule employees to meet business demands.
