Job summary

Buffalo Lodging Associates in Windsor, CT is seeking a Room Attendant for the Hampton Windsor to maintain clean guest rooms and suites. You will vacuum, change linens, make beds, and clean bathrooms to ensure a comfortable stay for guests.

Shifts run 8AM–5PM, with weekends and holidays as needed. Prior hotel experience is helpful; training is available. Pay is $17–$18 per hour, paid weekly, with a range of employee benefits offered by the company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• Previous hotel experience preferred or training available.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor, ensuring quality of cleanliness and service.

Description

The Hampton Inn Windsor is seeking Room Attendants to join their team! A flying visit to Hartford, our Hampton Inn by Hilton, with 110 comfortable guest rooms is located off I-91, and only 5 minutes from Bradley International Airport via our free shuttle. Our guests enjoy visits to the New England Air Museum only 5 miles away. Close to Six Flags New England and Springfield. Hartford is home to The Mark Twain House & Museum, and the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The Hampton Inn Windsor is one of the 50 hotels owned and managed by the award winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

A Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our guest rooms and suites.

Role:

• Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service. This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.
• Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
• Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
