Job summary

Homewood Suites Beachwood is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and suites. You will clean rooms and bathrooms, vacuum floors, change linens, remake beds, and restock supplies. You will report maintenance issues and respond promptly to guest requests, working shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.

This role emphasizes friendly, high‑quality hospitality. Prior hotel experience is welcome but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
• Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
• Engaging personality.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service. This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.
• Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
• Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
• Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
