Primary Responsibilities:
- Load housekeeping carts with necessary supplies
- Turn off all electricity (heating or cooling to fan or cool)
- Strip beds and drop linens for checked-out rooms before cleaning
- Ensure all lights are off and linens are dropped for new check-outs immediately
- Clean and label bottles on the cart
- Clean rooms thoroughly within 25 minutes in a fast-paced environment
- Obtain signature from the executive housekeeper on work sheets
- Vacuum and sweep floors and carpets
- Dust and clean room decorations, appliances, and surfaces
- Clean bathrooms and remove used amenities
- Inspect rooms for safety hazards and equipment issues, check linens
- Report lost items, maintenance issues, or special room problems
- Prepare rooms for guest arrivals and respond to requests
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and stock carts
- Manage linens and laundry procedures
- Record room status on work sheets
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Previous housekeeping experience required
- Attention to detail
- Customer service experience
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
