Job summary

Renaissance Allentown - The Dime is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor for full-time shifts. The role oversees daily restaurant and lounge operations, training staff, and ensuring guest satisfaction while supporting the Restaurant Manager.

Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior restaurant or hospitality experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with POS systems and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in restaurant or hospitality; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant operations, POS systems, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate restaurant staff to provide exceptional guest service.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, Marriott brand standards, and food safety regulations.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures, including cash handling and daily reports.
• Monitor dining room appearance, cleanliness, and organization.
• Ensure food and beverage quality meets established standards.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Support labor management by monitoring staffing levels throughout each shift.
• Complete shift reports and communicate operational updates to management.
