Now Hiring: Restaurant Supervisor
Location: Doubletree Hotel by Hilton - Aurora, CO
Assist the Restaurant Manager/Food & Beverage Manager in leading, training, and mentoring team members, including recruitment, hiring, coaching, evaluations, and progressive discipline.
Supervise the floor during meal periods to ensure service standards are consistently met.
Ensure checklists, requisitions, and opening/closing procedures are completed each shift.
Communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) to provide clear direction to team members.
Observe team member performance and encourage improvement where needed.
Ensure staffing levels are appropriate based on business needs.
Conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings to share relevant updates (e.g., occupancy, menu changes, safety, promotions, HR updates).
Communicate confidently with guests and staff, listen attentively, respond appropriately, and provide accurate information.
Remain calm and professional during emergencies or peak business activity, serving as a role model for the team.
Ensure SOPs for all outlets are in place and compliant with federal, state, local, and OHM requirements (e.g., ServSafe, EcoSure, Responsible Vendor).
Ensure steps of service outlined in training are followed daily.
Interact positively with guests, promote facilities/services, and resolve concerns to satisfaction.
Coordinate and document reservations; organize special events such as receptions, tastings, and patio parties.
Maintain rapport with other departments and attend relevant meetings.
Monitor food quality and service standards; verify temperatures, taste, and appearance of menu items.
Provide guidance and adjustments to maintain consistency.
Use hotel/restaurant systems to create forecasts, revenue reports, and accurate correspondence.
Follow cash handling procedures and ensure compliance by team members.
Maintain outlet cleanliness daily.
Solicit and document guest feedback on food and service.
Assist managers with monthly beverage and quarterly inventory processes.
Submit accurate daily and monthly reports in a timely manner.
Support Marketing and Social Media Manager with promotions, menu updates, and collateral.
Assist in planning and executing special events and banquets.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Supportive Functions
Ensure equipment is properly maintained; report and follow up on repair needs.

Support the entire F&B operation, including special projects, promotions, PR, and marketing as assigned.
Attend mandatory divisional and staff meetings.
Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Publisher, Canva, and related programs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Demonstrate positive leadership that inspires team members to exceed standards.
Maintain reliable attendance in accordance with company standards.
Fully comply with OHM rules, safety standards, and policies; violations may result in disciplinary action.

Education & Experience
Minimum of 2 years of food & beverage/restaurant experience; management experience preferred.
Compliance with safe food handling requirements as mandated by state, county, and OHM.
