Job summary

Sacramento Marriott Rancho Cordova is hiring a Restaurant Server for PM shifts. Located in Rancho Cordova, CA, this full-service hotel offers a dynamic, guest-focused dining environment where you will greet guests, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience.

We require 2–4 years of hotel/restaurant serving experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and valid CA Food Handler Card with RBS Certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of restaurant serving experience, ideally in a hotel or high-volume setting.
• Valid CA Food Handler Card.
• Valid RBS Certification.
• Knowledge of food and wine pairings in upscale restaurants.
• Military experience is a plus.

We are currently looking for a Restaurant Server to become part of our welcoming team. If you're passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Greet guests warmly and take food & beverage orders
• Serve meals and drinks courteously and efficiently in our hotel restaurant
• Create memorable dining experiences for every guest

What We’re Looking For:

• Open availability for evening (PM) shifts, including weekends (Monday–Sunday)
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years of restaurant serving experience, preferably in a hotel or high-volume setting
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Knowledge of food and wine pairings in upscale restaurants
• Valid CA Food Handler Card
• Valid RBS Certification
• Relevant military experience is a plus.
