The Dupont Circle Hotel seeks an experienced General Manager to oversee Pembroke Restaurant, bar, patio, and in-room dining services in Washington, DC. Lead a dedicated team to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction while upholding top food, beverage, and service quality.

You will drive business growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a positive, results-oriented work environment across all F&B outlets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing high-volume food & beverage operations.
• Strong knowledge of food service standards, guest relations, and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop service teams.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to problem-solve, handle guest concerns with empathy, and provide constructive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of Pembroke Restaurant and associated outlets.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor restaurant staff; foster talent.
• Organize pre-shift and departmental meetings to communicate specials and guest feedback.
• Set and monitor weekly sales and performance goals; motivate team to targets.
• Maintain inventory levels, equipment, and cost controls.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and Director of F&B on seasonal menus.
• Oversee cleanliness, sanitation, vendor relations, and staff grooming standards.
• Prioritize guest satisfaction by responding to feedback promptly.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws and food safety regulations.
