Job summary

The Seabird Ocean Resort and Spa is seeking a Receiving Clerk to manage receipt of hotel goods and guest packages, and to coordinate internal shipping. The role supports the purchasing team and ensures timely, accurate delivery of items.

Qualifications

• Hyatt experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge that includes Word and Excel.
• Clear concise written and verbal communication in English
• Must have organizational, administrative and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods and move moderate distances

Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Purchasing Director with sourcing and procurement of goods and services for the hotel.
• Evaluate, select and build relationships with suppliers, monitor performance.
• Implement inventory management practices and conduct audits.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure timely delivery of items.
• Receive and ensure purchased goods meet high-quality standards.
• Oversee storeroom operations and daily requisitions.
