Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a dedicated House Attendant to support housekeeping and hotel operations across public spaces and guest areas. You will help maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready spaces, deliver linens and supplies, and assist Rooms attendants to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Ideal candidates have experience in housekeeping or hospitality and a team-oriented, proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, hospitality, hotel, janitorial, facilities, cleaning, or operational experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across hotel public spaces including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, fitness centers, meeting spaces, and guest-facing areas.
• Deliver linens, towels, amenities, supplies, rollaway beds, cribs, and operational items throughout the property.
• Assist Room Attendants and housekeeping leadership with operational support, deep cleaning projects, room readiness, and housekeeping requests.
• Remove trash, soiled linens, and debris from guest floors, housekeeping areas, and operational spaces throughout shifts.
• Maintain housekeeping closets, storage rooms, linen areas, and housekeeping carts in clean and organized condition.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, housekeeping calls, and operational needs.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, lost and found items, and operational issues promptly to leadership teams.
• Follow sanitation procedures, chemical handling guidelines, hotel safety policies, and operational standards at all times.
• Support VIP arrivals, group business, event setup assistance, and special operational projects as needed.
• Partner closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and Operations teams to support smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
• Help create clean, welcoming, and comfortable spaces aligned with Sonesta's People People philosophy.
