Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Houseperson to support our Housekeeping and Front Desk teams in Charlotte, NC. You will help keep public areas clean, assist with linen and trash removal, and respond to guest needs while maintaining a safe hotel environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced hospitality setting, providing helpful service to guests and team members. Flexible availability is required, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• No prior hotel experience required; housekeeping, janitorial, cleaning, or hospitality experience is helpful.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and hotel procedures.
• Strong communication with guests, clients, and team members in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Basic math skills for handling money, weights, volume, and distances.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas of the hotel per standards.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, sanitize, and arrange furnishings.
• Transport linens and trash; report lost items.
• Assist guests with directions and service requests in a courteous manner.
• Notify Maintenance of repairs or safety concerns; support front desk and housekeeping operations.
