Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Houseperson to support housekeeping and front desk teams. You will help maintain clean, welcoming public areas, assist with linen and trash removal, and contribute to a safe hotel environment.

The role requires detail orientation and proactive service in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate has strong teamwork and communication skills, flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and hotel procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, clients, and team members.
• Basic math skills including money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to complete simple instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Keep public areas clean and guest-ready throughout the hotel.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, sanitize surfaces, and remove trash.
• Transport linens and supplies; assist with room readiness.
• Clean corridor walls, doors, mirrors, and elevator areas.
• Report lost and found items per hotel procedures.
• Assist guests with directions, amenities, and requests.
• Report guest concerns to enable timely service recovery.
• Notify maintenance of repairs or safety concerns.
• Support housekeeping and front desk operations as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and SOPs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
